Every project starts from the same brief: a site that looks considered and has a real job to do. It should tell your story, show people what sets your brand apart, and point visitors toward the next step.
My Approach
(01)
Strategy
It starts with a call, then the research. I look at what you’re selling, who’s buying it and why, then shape that into positioning and a story that sounds like you rather than everyone else. I dig into how those people actually behave too, so the design is built to convert from the very first sketch.
(02)
Design
This is my favourite part. I design brands and websites that are clear, considered and full of personality, and I’m happy to work in whatever direction suits you rather than bending every project to one style. Wherever we land, the aim is the same: let your brand carry the page, and give visitors one unmistakable reason to act.
(03)
Build
I build everything to perform exactly as well as it looks. That might be a brand identity structured to scale cleanly across every platform, or a website that loads instantly on a phone. It matters, because a sharp design that’s clunky to use or slow to arrive still loses people.
FAQs
These are the questions that come up before most projects. If there’s something else you’re wondering about, just ask. I’m always happy to talk it through.

A single page site is usually three to four weeks. A full site with brand work behind it runs eight to twelve. Most of that is strategy and design, the build is the quick part. I only take on a small number of client projects a year, so yours is never sitting in a queue waiting for me to get to it.

Most of my sites are built with Astro and hosted on Cloudflare, so they load fast even on a phone with one bar of reception. I’d rather make a simple site that does its job properly than a complicated one that doesn’t, and for bigger or more custom builds I bring in a developer I trust.
If you’d like to update things yourself later, I can set you up with Sanity, a simple editor for changing your own text and images. It depends a little on the size of the project, so we’ll talk it through.

Everything is quoted as a fixed fee once we’ve scoped it out on a call, so there are no hourly surprises at the end. The number tracks the size of the site and how much brand and strategy work sits behind it. If you’ve got a budget you need to stay inside, tell me early and I’ll be straight with you about what fits.

Some time early on, and the honest version of your business. A kickoff call, whatever you already have (logos, photography, copy, analytics), and one person who can give feedback and make the calls. If copy or photography is missing, I’ll tell you before we start rather than halfway through.
-
Happily, if you want me to. Hosting on Cloudflare is cheap, and I can keep it running, make changes as you need them and keep an eye on how it’s performing. If you’d rather own the whole thing outright, that’s completely fine too. I hand it over with documentation and no lock in.

Yes, of course. If you’ve got a brand you’re happy with, I’ll work inside it rather than try to reinvent it. And if you’ve got a developer or an internal marketing team, I can design and hand over, or build alongside them.
